Brenda Joyce Crowe

Brenda Crowe ,70, of Prattsville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 22, 2014. Brenda was born to Helen and Harold Toler on January 21, 1944. She married the man of her dreams when she was 16 years old and dedicated her life to the Lord, her husband and the four boys they raised together.
Brenda was proud of her home and took pride in canning all the vegetables her husband raised. She grew flowers and loved to feed the birds. She played piano in church and spoiled her 3 dogs, Spud, Pebbles and Bam Bam.
Brenda is preceded in death by her son, James Brian Crowe and her father.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Crowe. She is also survived by three sons; David Crowe of Sheridan, AR; Jerry (Frankie) Crowe of Prattsville, Allan Crowe, also of Prattsville, her mother, Helen Toler of Elgin, IL, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held at Neighbors Cemetery at 1:00 Saturday, August 23, 2014. Pallbearers will be her sons. The family would like to thank Atkinson Funeral Home for their care and for being their family funeral home for so many years.
